My name is Elena Muiños and for almost ten years I have been supporting companies and/or foreign individual clients in their language so that they can fulfill their obligations in labour and Social Security matters, naval management, and various other procedures.
I work together with specialized professional offices to help companies and individuals efficiently resolve processes in their native language.
My experience after living abroad for almost 10 years has made me understand the problems that arise when one relocates and the need to know how things work.
In recent years working in Spain, I have been responsible at a foreign vacation resort for managing all labor and human resources matters. Later, at a renowned tax consultancy, I led a team that reviewed and controlled all labor obligations for our companies and individual clients, always in coordination with external labor offices.
The range of situations to monitor is so broad that I have been training in specific topics such as Social Security, labor law, international worker movement, hiring domestic employees, collective agreement analysis, maritime labor agreements, etc.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused very rapid changes in the Spanish legal system at all levels, and specifically in labor matters, it has undergone a real revolution in recent years, with continuous changes at a dizzying pace. Similarly, this pandemic has caused an international movement of people relocating their jobs to other countries, the so-called digital nomads, making it necessary to legislate accordingly.
Since May 2024, I have been working independently, collaborating with tax advisors and specialized labor professional offices, and handling communication between them and the final client.
